Cycling Through the Prosecco Hills
Pieve di Soligo welcomes a new edition of “La Epica,” the premier cycling tourism event that invites athletes and enthusiasts to ride along the most picturesque dirt roads of the Marca Trevigiana. The event offers an extraordinary opportunity to explore the most authentic corners of this UNESCO World Heritage landscape, nestled within the splendid setting of this Venetian town. The event will kick off on Saturday with “La Epica Bike Expo,” an exhibition of uniquely charming bicycles, accompanied by the opening of the hospitality area where participants can pick up their race kits and technical packets amid DJ sets, social gatherings, and entertainment.
Sunday, on the other hand, will be entirely dedicated to cycling, good food, and toasting in good company. Participants will be able to tackle three different routes, tailored to various difficulty levels, which will wind through the enchanting landscape of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The start from Pieve di Soligo will follow the “French-style” format, allowing everyone to ride at their own pace while following the official GPS route provided by the organizers. The day will culminate with the final event, “La Epica Spiedo & Beer Fest,” a grand finish-line celebration featuring sizzling spit-roasted meats, craft beer, and lively live music.
