Entertainment in the old town
Street performers in Conegliano
The eagerly awaited ‘GranBaccano’ festival is taking place once again in Conegliano, now in its sixth year. On Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September, the old town will be transformed into a huge open-air stage, welcoming spectators of all ages with acrobatics, clowning, balancing acts and spectacular fire shows. A packed programme of visually stunning performances will showcase talented artists from all over the world.
The event begins on Saturday 26 September at 4.30 pm in the Corte delle Rose, where performances by the artists Brunitus, Cristian Trelles and Benjamin Trellas will take turns, accompanied by the rousing sounds of the Funkasin Street Band. The celebrations will then continue throughout Sunday 27 September from 11.30 am, taking place at some of the city’s most impressive locations, such as Piazza Cima, Palazzo Sarcinelli, Palazzo Montalban, the cathedral and the Monastery of San Francesco.
