After a decade of success, the Casparetha is now one of the most important and cherished winter events in the Valle del Biois.
Canale d'Agordo is ready to welcome its fans as always with competition, trekking, tasting, and fun in a setting that always amazes both tourists and locals.
Initially conceived as a charming moonlit walk with snowshoes on one's feet. Now divided into competitive and non-competitive categories, the event stands out among other snowshoeing events in Agordino due to the tremendous participation of athletes and spectators. The walk is open to the first 1,000 registered participants.
The departure will be from Piazza Papa Luciani, the main square of Canale d'Agordo, and will pass through the picturesque village thanks to the snow coverage on Via Tancon and Via Soia. The route follows a distance of about 5 km with the finish line at Piazza Papa Luciani. Along the route, there will be a rest stop offering mulled wine, hot tea, and cookies.
