Foundational pillars of hard rock and heavy metal worldwide.
The Scorpions are one of the longest-lasting, most influential, and recognizable bands in the history of rock music. Formed in 1965 in Hannover by guitarist Rudolf Schenker, the group was born with the ambition of bringing European rock to an international level, inspired by the great Anglo-American names while developing from the very beginning a distinct and unmistakable stylistic signature.
After an initial period of settling in and lineup changes, the arrival of singer Klaus Meine and guitarist Matthias Jabs marks the beginning of the band's most solid and creative phase. Starting in the 1970s and especially in the 1980s, the Scorpions captivated global audiences with a powerful yet extremely melodic sound.
Over the course of more than six decades of career, the band has sold over 100 million records worldwide, played on every continent, and graced the stages of the most important international festivals. Despite the evolution of the musical landscape, the Scorpions have always maintained their identity, continuing to release new works and bringing an energetic show on tour, faithful to the original spirit of rock.
In 2025, the year of their 60th anniversary, they celebrated with a tour and a special live project, confirming their status as true living legends: a band that has traversed eras, generations, and cultural boundaries without ever losing intensity, passion, and artistic credibility.
