A journey through information, science, stories, and entertainment that will traverse twenty-two municipalities in Polesine.
Polesine Meetings with the Author 2025 is a series promoted by the Province of Rovigo, in collaboration with the municipalities of the Provincial Library System and the Aida Foundation.
PROGRAM
The series will kick off on January 31 with a meeting in Canda (Parish Hall Don R. Ravara) featuring Matteo Caccia who will present Cose che succedono vivendo, Il sole 24ore 2024, a summary of stories collected over the last five years at Radio24 talking about love and sports, parents and children, care, and special meetings, all those things that happen while living. Moderated by Silvia Malanchin and Sara Donegà.
There will be a double meeting on February 1 with Sigfrido Ranucci. The host of Report will present La scelta, Bompiani 2024, respectively in Porto Viro (Eracle Hall, 6:15 PM) and Lendinara (Ballarin Municipal Theater, 9:00 PM).
Among the prominent names in the series is Simone Pieranni. A journalist, author of Chora Media, on February 6 in Fratta Polesine (Civic Hall G. Matteotti) will discuss central themes regarding our contemporary life with the critical eye of someone who has lived and worked in China for a long time with Simone Bonafin.
On February 8 in Badia Polesine (B. Soffiantini Hall) with the RTL 102.5 radio speaker, Francesca Cheyenne Roveda takes us to Veneto with the novel Avevamo i capelli lunghi, Ugo Mursia Editore 2024, in which she narrates the story of a 52-year-old woman who, amidst old friends and new challenges, rediscovers hope in a destiny that seemed closed. Moderated by Mirka Tolini.
