“Citizens, the time has come” a manifesto that marks the arrival of the Presidents.
English project, anonymous and masked, built as a “campaign” made of symbols, rituals, and cryptic communication, designed to set aside identity and past, leaving only music and mission. In an era of oversharing, they do the opposite – and, paradoxically, get noticed even more.
Their live debut at Download Festival 2025, at Donington Park (England), turned the claim “The Inauguration Begins” into a high-impact show, capable of generating significant attention despite being a debut.
Musically, the Presidents move between metalcore and alternative metal, with electronic inserts, anthemic choruses, and a deliberately “modern” (even divisive) production, focusing on atmosphere and impact. After the initial singles “In the Name of the Father” and “Fearless”, the debut EP “King of Terrors” arrives in 2025, consolidating imagery and themes: faith, darkness, cult, identity, and personal catharsis – more introspection than politics, despite the “institutional” aesthetic.
