Rich masks, sumptuous costumes, vibrant colours and anonymity: these are the ingredients that make up the Venice Carnival among the streets, canals and bridges of the City.
During the most colourful period of the year, the city hosts a surreal game, beyond any logic, in which each participant can abandon his/her own habits, get away from prejudices and break down social barriers, changing attitudes and behaviours according to his/her disguise.
In this atmosphere of light-heartedness, dedicated to lightness and fun, Carnival accompanies a subversion of meaning, an opening of mind to unexpected scenarios and, at times, inner journeys to discover hidden desires and secret aspects of one's personality, with the freedom of anonymity, guaranteed by a mask.
Irreverent and playful twisting of conventions: the theme of the 2023 edition is inspired by the signs of the constellations and those original symbols that distinguish the Venetian Carnival, setting out in search of one's own original sign in total freedom of creative expression, as a manifestation of identity and self-affirmation.
