Walking route among the vineyards in the Prosecco Hills
A stroll through the vineyards along the Prosecco Gold Coast
Col San Martino in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore Hills is the starting point for a picturesque, peaceful walk through the vineyards that will take you to two of the most beautiful architectural sites in the area.
Route:
Follow the signs for the church of San Vigilio. After a short stretch on a paved, rather steep road, you’ll come to the square outside the church, where you can enjoy spellbinding views of the whole Quartier del Piave and Montello area. Go down the hills on the opposite side. After following the road for a while, you’ll find yourself in the middle of the vineyards. You will then come to the remains of an old feudal complex once owned by the Counts of Collalto, which is known as the Credazzo Towers. There, you’ll find an area where you can take a quick break and decide whether to turn back or carry on to the Church of San Lorenzo.
