Tiramisù and scientific research.
Sweetness and solidarity
Friuli and Veneto have always clashed over the paternity of Tiramisù, but it is Treviso that holds the traditional recipe and celebrates the tasty dessert for which this year marks the seventh edition of the homemade Tiramisù challenge!
On Sunday 6 October, the appointment is in the various squares of the city, where the challenge to the last dusting of cocoa will be held, which will also involve the mayors and, for the second edition, also the lactose-free and gluten-free recipe. For the children, there will be a Tiramisù workshop and the sixth edition of the non-competitive walk in the historic centre in favour of Telethon, to discover the most evocative views of Treviso. Throughout the day, moreover, the cooks of Assocuochi Treviso will serve the more than 10. 000 portions of Tiramisù, accompanied by 3,000 glasses of Prosecco offered by the Val D'Oca wineries and served by the AIS Sommeliers, and by samples of the liqueur ‘Tiramisù di Casa’ courtesy of Bonaventura Maschio, in return for an offer in favour of the Telethon Foundation for research into rare genetic diseases and any other projects of other voluntary associations in the area that will actively participate in the event and believe in the possibility of uniting the taste of Tiramisù with the pleasure of donating.
