Visionary Lesley Lokko for the Architecture Biennale
The Laboratory of the Future
Lesley Lokko is the architect, architecture lecturer and writer who curated the 18th edition of this unmissable event: the Venice Architecture Biennale. For her, it is a unique opportunity to propose ambitious and creative ideas that help imagine a fairer and more optimistic future together.
The exhibition will address the themes of land, borders, migration, cultural identity, globalisation and diasporic ties. It will be set up as a kind of workshop, a laboratory where architects and professionals will be able to outline an itinerary composed of examples from their activities, which visitors will be able to walk through imagining for themselves what the future may hold.
